(Animated) Logos

Whether your logo is already designed and simply needs movement, or you need a logo created from scratch, it should always fit the character of the brand.

I always try to look at what makes a brand unique: who is the person behind the brand, and what feels natural for its identity? An existing logo can be brought to life through animation that complements its shapes, personality, and style, while a new logo can be developed and animated from the ground up as one cohesive design.

For ElzaLotte, we created an elegant yet personal logo together. She had a strong vision for what she wanted the logo to be, and we translated that into a design that feels professional while still having an individual, human touch. The handwritten text alongside the logo adds that personal character, reflecting what she does in her own way.

Game Concept Logos

These designs were created as proof-of-concept work for a startup game company. The project started as Reborn Realm, and later grew into A Realm Beyond.

For Reborn Realm I designed a bold, playful wordmark that mixes soft blue wings with fiery letterforms, capturing the idea of rebirth and energy. Alongside it I illustrated Phoebe, a little baby phoenix that became the face of the concept. She is bright, curious and full of personality. The day and night versions show how the identity could flex across different moods and environments, hinting at another cyclic element of rebirth.

A Realm Beyond, however, took a quieter, more atmospheric direction. The lettering plays with natural textures and organic details, suggesting a world that feels ancient and alive rather than purely fantastical.

These pieces were early explorations in building visual worlds for games, fun to make, and a clear example of turning a rough idea into something that already feels like it belongs on a title screen.

Marieke Muus Fotografie

For Marieke Muus Fotografie, I followed the client’s vision closely. Marieke wanted something that felt personal and had a little playfull edge, nothing too stiff, elegant or clean.

We experimented with brush strokes and ways of placing her name, almost like a sticker in the corner of a photograph or something you could put on an envelope.

The final logo combines her name with a hand-drawn camera icon, creating a mark that feels recognisable without needing to spell out “photography”. It works especially well when placed in white on top of a photograph.

This logo was created in early 2022, just before I started my studies at the Art Academy. It’s an early example of my approach to client-led visual identity work.

Van Hemert Services

For Van Hemert Services I created a brandmark that needed to feel solid, technical and approachable, something that immediately signals IT expertise without looking too cold or corporate

The emblem combines what people expect from tech, a simplified chip or circuit, with the letter H. Hidden in the shapes is another layer: it spells out S > V > H, the initials of the founder’s full name.

The client later described it as “a perfect representation of me and my company. Modern, creative, with a hint of technology and it's nice and fresh.” Those words still capture the intention behind the mark.

Clean, memorable and versatile, it works equally well in solid blue, white or monochrome.
